Basing your vote on that of P.Diddy will take you one step closer to fulfilling your dreams of great fame and success

Let's jump right into things shall we?

The American election sounds fun doesn't it? Yes everyone likes those Democrats, everyone else likes the Republicans. I don't really care who or how you like which party, what I do care about is why anyone cares about which celebrities are supporting what party.
That these people even get air time for their "Palin is not the type of person I want running our country" speech, is beyond my understanding. Why does anyone care what an actor/actress/dancer/singer/famewhore thinks? It is not like P Diddy went to University....Lindsay Lohan didn't study politics during her time in rehab- so why does anyone ask them? What does their opinion mean? Why is their endorsment of a candidate any more meaningful than that of a single working mother of 2? Why does anyone broadcast their support? Why does anyone encourage them to speak up and thus imply that we care? Listening to them sound off about Obama (it's always in support of Obama because Hollywood is the land of enlightenment) is equivalent to listening to some backwoods shit-flinging hillbilly who can't pronounce the word "responsibility"- as in- they are uninformed, uneducated, unispired, unFIT to be reaching out to the public on such a topic.
The media will often seek out average voters on the street and ask them "what do you think of Bidden" or "how will you be voting this election", which is fine, and therefore, ask a celebrity while you are at it since they too vote- but like I care to hear Entertainment Tonight regularly probe celebrities on the topic. I am just as interested in what Sue Davis of Montana has to say as I am in what Eva Longoria has to say- in fact, Sue from Montana likely isn't going to be as obvious in her decision as the star studded are....everyone knows that everyone in Hollywood has to support the Democrats so that everyone sees how enlightend and openminded they are. Not everyone knows what Sue from Montana will say.
For the Democrats to even affiliate or acknowledge the celebrity endorsement is stupid (not that they are, but they could be). Acknowledge the endorsement of the acedemic, or the famed business mogal, or the successful farmer, or the teacher's aid......don't go on praising the endorsment of a body that has done little in the betterment of the American society. LAME

Next- why in God's name does Edmonton still have trains regularly rolling through the city and subsequently delaying traffic on major roads for seemingly ever? Like, in the middle of freaking rush hour- I's stuck at a railroad crossing for 1/2 hour while some shitty train lumbers on- stops-rolls forward-stops- then backs up- then lumbers along again. This city is insane.
